when [livejournal.com profile] zubatac's cousin visited us when [livejournal.com profile] gljiva was a few months old, she
brought back a last-minute present for [livejournal.com profile] gljiva's great grandma, some kind of chocolates wrapped in dumb US flag wrappers.

They were a big hit, but we didn't spot them on our way out last time and I'm not sure I've even *noticed* the duty-free shops at Logan before. But something similar has been requested this trip (we leave on Monday night.) Anyone know where to get other Boston or US-themed touristy chocolates, or have info on what one can buy at the airport on the way out for an international flight?

There are a number of Duty Free shops at Logan in the various terminals. I know there's one in Terminal C and another in Terminal E. But I'm afraid I don't know where to find US-themed touristy chocolate.

Yeah, this particular chocolate did come from *a* duty free shop in the airport, which I wasn't clear about, so I know that at least one shop exists in Terminal E, but who knows if they will still have it or if we will find the right shop. If it's just one shop per terminal, then at least I can expect to poke around there.

I would much rather find some similar chocolate (I can't imagine the *taste* was what was exciting!) while shopping this weekend before we go than count on running an errand at the airport while occupied getting a toddler through the terminal, though. ;-)

It seems like the sort of chocolate that Hidden Sweets in Harvard Square would stock.

when i was flighting out of Logan a couple of years ago by Air France to Russia I remember walking around the terminal (I had a couple of hours to spend) and there was a duty free shop there. I can clearly remember alcohol and cigarettes there, but there could have been chocolate there too. Also, they have a souvenir shop, and I remember buying random stuff with Boston logos for people I forgot to get presents for. They have mugs, shot glasses, T-shirts with Boston, Red Sox etc.

Thanks, I'm sure there's chocolate in one of the shops and am mainly hoping there aren't too many shops, if we are going to try to find the same chocolate again.
